Different Types of Showers for Your Bathroom
If you are going for a makeover of the bathroom then you may also be looking to get the new showers or shower heads. Well, there are many types of showers in the bathroom and knowing a bit about them could be quite handy before making the purchase. Here are some of the most common types of showers.
Electric Showers: Electric showers are really good for the bathrooms that do not have the boilers or are not connected to the hot water supply. The best thing about these showers is that they only require the supply of cold water. While the water runs through the nozzle, the electric heating mechanism heats the water on the go. This sounds really cool. But that is not it! These showers can also bring down your electricity bills.
Mixer Showers: This is one of the most common types of showers found in the bathrooms. This shower is connected to two different supplies of water – hot and cold. You can choose to dispense only hot water or cold water or mix both of them (that’s the name ‘mixer’.) What’s really cool about these showers is that you do not need to have high water flow with these showers.
Thermostatic Shower: These showers are meant to keep you safe from the accidental supply of hot water when there is no cold water. The problem with mixer showers is that if the same water supply is connected to other taps, then if someone opens the cold water tap somewhere else, it will reduce the cold water supply to your shower and hence you can get burnt. This shower will detect any changes in the temperature and cut the supply.
