Organizing your Fridge
Even though it may seem like unimportant part of your house, because it is “only” a fridge, you need to know that it is not “only” a fridge, and that you also need to take care of it.
Having a clean fridge is necessary because not only it won’t look messy, but you’ll be able to organize your food and think about the next thing you are going to eat/cook.
First step is to throw out anything past its due date, because you don’t want to eat something that is rotten.
You should do this on a weekly basis, because you need to have control over the food you eat.
Next thing you should do is to wipe your shelves with a damp cloth that you’ve previously dipped into water.
Of course you can always add one tablespoon of baking soda if you want to keep it fresh and clean.
Then you should put the older food in front, because in that way you will always keep in mind of what is old and what is new. And of course you should always eat old food first.
If you want to clean your fridge thoroughly you should first empty your fridge, and then clean it.
Keep in mind that you should be very fast, because you don’t want to keep your food outside of the fridge for too long.
Make sure you clean every single part of your fridge. And when we say every single part, we mean – behind the fridge, inside and outside.
After you finish with it, you should put your food back into the fridge and keep it organized, because only in that case you will be able to see what useful what isn’t.
